Logitech declares an outstanding fiscal year 2021, the highest ever ... ever

Digital firms are boosting because teleworking. Any digital enterprise. No exception.

The announcements are mutually successful and look the same for the key IT and technology players. In order to name only two, Logitech gives us a new example after AMD or Microsoft press releases.

Sales up 76% year on year

The Swiss business specializes in peripherals to all users' destinations and is as well-known by players as everyday users and has significantly benefited from the Covid-19 pandemic – at least at a strict accounting basis.

Logitech has indeed just published its results for the fiscal year it closed on March 31, and they are eloquent. To put it simply, this is quite simply the best year ever recorded by the company, which saw its sales jump 76% year on year.

It is thus a question of a turnover of 5.25 billion dollars. Logitech evokes GAAP operating income up 315% to reach, over the whole of fiscal year 2021, the figure of 1.15 billion dollars compared to 276 million last year.

Logitech revises its 2022 forecast

Obviously, the findings can be due to the extraordinary health crisis we are facing and several businesses and people have been equipped to carry out teleworking tasks. However, over time it doesn't seem to relax.

For Logitech, thus, the fourth quarter of this fiscal year has also reached a record level with revenue up 117% relative to the same time last year. Over the last three months, Logitech has raised $1.54 billion.

In fact, Logitech looks to the future rather calmly and has notably revised its forecasts for the next fiscal year: it now expects non-GAAP income of between $ 800 and $ 850 million, whereas it was previously forecast between $ 750 and $ 850 million. $ 800 million.
